I can’t help it. I have to grip it sometimes. And control is applicable here. How do I grip it, own it, dissect it, fix it, and then give it away? I just do. I start it and make it mine, and then I stop and share because I can’t do it all the way all the time and I’m smart enough to see that my limitations are also feedback on the next step forward. When I hit the stopping point, it’s simply an indicator that someone else’s ideas and input are ripe for the contributing.

Start it, give it away, take it back, and give it away again. Also known as delegating. Sometimes I share four or five brains. Imagine that. It’s always better in the end.
